Group Operations
Group operations allow you to perform actions on multiple devices simultaneously. All group operations are processed through the Activity Center, where progress and results are tracked.
How to Start a Group Operation v0.3.0
- Select devices using the checkboxes in the Workers list
- To select all devices, click Select All in the table header
- In the appeared group actions panel, select the desired operation
- Confirm the action in the dialog
- The operation will be sent to the Activity Center, where you can track its progress
Available Group Operations
Basic operations (Reboot, Pause, Resume, Change pools) are available from v0.3.0. Restart, Start/Stop Locate, and Install firmware are available from v0.6.0. Diagnostic report is available from v0.8.5. Boards config and Thermal config are available from v0.9.0. Set to service / Remove from service are available from v1.0.0-alpha1. Performance config is available from v1.0.0-alpha2. Notes (group notes) are available from v1.0.0-alpha2.
Reboot, Pause, Resume, Change pools, and Change password for MicroBT (Whatsminer) devices are performed via the vendor's native API, alongside HashCore Firmware and Bitmain, from
v1.0.0-alpha3.

Group Preset Management (Performance config) v1.0.0-alpha2
This operation is available for devices with HashCore Firmware. Three modes are switched by tabs in a single dialog:

The Autoswitch presets option controls the firmware's auto-switcher directly in the dialog (no change / enable / disable on all selected devices).
Up to two conditions narrow the operation to only the necessary devices — Status, Temperature (v1.0.0-alpha2), Hashrate Efficiency, and Power (v1.0.0-alpha3) are available, with logical AND/OR. Hashrate Efficiency is calculated as the ratio of actual hashrate to ideal for the device's current preset (in percent), Power is compared to actual wall consumption.
Devices not running HashCore Firmware, as well as those not meeting the conditions, are skipped with a note in the Activity Center.
Group Note Management (Notes) v1.0.0-alpha2
- Edit Note — sets the same note text for all selected devices, replacing existing ones
- Clear Note — deletes notes from all selected devices after confirmation
For devices running HashCore Firmware, the note is also written to Device Note; offline devices receive it upon next connection. For other firmwares, only the note within Pulse is updated.
Service Mode for a Group of Devices v1.0.0-alpha1
Set to service in group mode transfers all selected devices to service mode in a single operation — with a common Problem summary and optional Service reason, applied to each device in the selection. A separate session with its own SVR-YYYY-NNNN identifier is created for each device.
Remove from service in group mode ends service sessions on all selected devices at once — with a common Result summary and optional Result comment.
Devices already in Service Mode are skipped when attempting to put them into service again (and vice versa — devices not in Service Mode are skipped when using Remove from service), with a notification about the number of skipped devices. Each device in the selection receives its own independent session with a separate SVR-ID, even if the Problem/Result summary is common for the entire group (v1.0.0-alpha3). More details about the mode itself can be found in the Single Operations and Device Card sections.
Devices in Service Mode are also automatically skipped in all other group operations (Reboot, Change pools, etc.) — see the note in the "Device Card → Service Mode" section.
Batch Command Sending v0.9.0
When performing group operations on a large fleet of devices, Pulse sends commands in batches — not to all devices simultaneously. This prevents peak load on the power grid when hundreds of miners are started at once.
Batch sending settings are configured in the farm parameters:
- Devices per packet — number of devices in one batch (default 10)
- Pause duration — pause between batches in seconds (default 5)
Operation Results v0.5.0
After a group operation is completed, detailed statistics are available in the Activity Center:
- How many devices completed the operation successfully
- How many completed with an error and why
- Isolate failed button for quick navigation to problematic devices
The operation status is assigned automatically: Success (< 1% errors), Partial (1–30%), Failed (> 30%).
Single Operations
Single operations are applied to a specific device via its context menu. The menu can be accessed by clicking the **⋯** button in the device row or in the card header.
Board Management
Board Management (Boards config) allows you to enable and disable individual hashboards on devices directly from the Pulse interface — without needing to access each miner's web interface. Available only for devices running HashCore Firmware.
